等待日出的人们
早睡的好处现在众人皆知,但就算知道这个道理,也立了无数次决心,也很难执行或坚持。我也常会想,到底要怎样才能将早睡变成一件日常且自然的事情呢?
We all know the benefits of going to bed early. But even when we’re fully aware of them and have made up our minds countless times, it’s still hard to actually do it or stick with it. I often wonder how I can make early sleep something that feels routine and natural.
经过自己的多次实践与验证,我发现把每天的唯一目标就定为早睡,乃是稳定执行早睡的有效方法之一。
After plenty of trial and error, I’ve found that setting “early sleep” as my only goal for the day is actually one of the most effective ways to make it happen.
听起来不可思议,因为谁会把一天的目标只定为“早睡”呢?一天还有那么多事情要做,家里的事,工作的事,学习的事等等,不都应该立为日程计划吗?
It might sound surprising. I mean, who makes “early sleep” their one and only goal for a day? There’s so much to do in a day—housework, job tasks, studying and so forth, shouldn’t those be on the schedule too?
其实正因为有各种各样的安排,一天都在忙碌不停,到了晚上回到家中,可不就想着为自己争取一点自由的时间吗?于是就开始忍不住刷手机、打游戏、追剧、吃夜宵等,直到深夜也不舍得睡,因为大脑潜意识里认为白天没有足够的休闲时间。
But actually, it’s exactly because we’re so busy all day with all kinds of responsibilities that when we finally get home at night, we can’t help but want some “me time.” That’s when we start scrolling through our phones, gaming, binge-watching shows, having late-night snacks, etc. And before we know it, it’s way past our bedtime. We just don’t want the day to end because, deep down, we feel like we didn’t get enough downtime during the day.
总结一句话:晚睡往往是因为我们白天的情绪没被满足。这也正是很多人晚睡的理由吧。
In short, staying up late often happens because our emotional needs usually can’t be satisfied during the daytime. Sounds relatable to many people’s staying up late, right?
晨曦里的漫步
那么既然找到原因了,而且对早睡有足够的决心,咱们就可以从源头抓起了。以一日的早睡为总目标,把其它事情设定为分目标,白天尽量抓紧时间高效完成各种工作学习生活上的事情,尽量不拖延,为的就是一天中能给自己留下更多的休闲时光,不至于非要到深夜才“犒劳”自己想要休息的大脑。
So now that we know the reason, and if we’re truly determined to sleep early, we can tackle it at the root. Make “early sleep” our main goal of the day. Treat everything else as sub-tasks. Try to be efficient and avoid procrastination so we can finish our work, studies, and chores sooner. That way, we may create more free time for ourselves earlier in the day—instead of compensating for it late at night.
因此,若想既要能够高效完成当日任务,又要自然实现早睡,使得自己拥有双倍的成就感,不妨试试这个小技巧。
